Tax and fleet specialist Dieter Quartier has been in the field since 2000. He’s a qualified translator for English, Italian and Dutch and he started his career, after an internship at AutoGids, as a database manager for BMW Financial Services, specialising in remarketing and residual value management. At Hyundai Belux, he led the fleet department in 2007 and 2008, but the call to set up his own business became too strong to ignore in 2009. In 2010, he founded Words in Gear, a translation and content agency for the automotive industry. In 2016, he reoriented his activities towards journalism (Fleet Europe, AutoGids, Autonieuws.be), training and consultancy.
Automotive specialist and process coach Koen Deckers also has two decades’ experience in various fields of the automotive industry. Once he graduated in Applied Economics in Antwerp, he started an internship at Mercedes-Benz in Mannheim where he was in charge of launching the BMW C1 in Belgium in 2000. He got a new role as Training Manager at BMW Group Belux but the time was ripe for him to set up his own business in 2011. After an assignment as Consultant Organisational Development at BMW Jorssen, he worked as an automotive trainer and coach with a focus on dealer processes and customer satisfaction.
